Howard Ruggles photographs of Stanford University 1905-1907.

These photographs, either taken by Ruggles or acquired by him, are of Stanford sporting events, views of the campus, and the damage to campus buildings by the 1906 earthquake. Earthquake-damaged buildings include Memorial Church, Memorial Arch, the new gymnasium and library, and the entrance gates. General views of the campus include Frenchman's Lake, the Entrance Gates, Palm Drive, and two views of campus taken from the hills behind it, one before and one after the earthquake.
